A California girl born and raised in Santa Cruz, Adrianne is a quilter and blogger living in the Bay Area with her husband and two small children. This former photographer has been quilting and stashing fabric since 2005. Her fresh modern quilts are inspired by everyday shapes and colors. Growing up near the ocean, her influences include coastal lifestyle and beach themes. Her dream is to publish quilt patterns.
Adrianne learned to sew at a young age by making bean bags and small pillows with her Mom. Surrounded by a family of makers, she watched and learned to be curious and to create. In school she filled her electives with art history, ceramics, photography and print making.
When she discovered the online quilting community, she jumped right in with a quilt along. She started this blog as a way to connect further and share her own work. Adrianne is an active member of the modern quilt guild and served as the President of the Bay Area Modern Quilt Guild for two years.
