The other night it was finally quiet in the house and I went into my sewing area to clean up a bit. Instead, I found myself sitting down to sew something just for fun. I still had scraps from my Good Neighbors project out and I had a new pattern that I wanted to try. The next thing you know hours had silently passed me by. I love finding that quiet place of concentration and creation. It fuels me and refuels me again and again.
FABRIC: Good Neighbors by Amanda Jean Nyberg

ReplyDeleteLove this to itsy bits!!
ReplyDeleteLove it! I love the picture with the M&Ms. It really shows how small the pieces are!
ReplyDeleteThanks all! They were pretty small. Good for one block I think. ; )
DeleteBeautiful! Where did you get the lovely pattern?
ReplyDeleteHi Shari, the pattern is called Goosed Up by JeliQuilts. She sells online at Craftsy and Payhip. Here is a link to the craftsy listing: http://www.craftsy.com/pattern/quilting/other/goosed-up--paper-pieced-block/89918
DeleteAdrianne, I just found you because of Amanda Jean's Hop--and I'm so glad I did! This is absolutely stunning! I'm hoping these 67 year old eyes will be able to do such teeny, tiny work. And I'm delighted to find a fellow M&M lover--plain, not peanut--I always crunch or suck off the candy coating and save the chocolate for last :)
ReplyDeleteHi Karen, I am glad you found me too! Welcome. : ) I'm hoping for another M&M and sewing night this week.
DeleteIt's beautiful and so tiny!
ReplyDeleteThanks Alex! x
