Interview with My Stars

Phew! Sweet relief. My family found a house and moved since the last time I saw you. School starts next week and I just found out yesterday that they have room for both my kids. Hooray! It was not looking good there for awhile. As life is settling into place, my manic quilting has slowed down to a sweet puttering.

One of my favorite things about this house is the bonus room over the garage. My fabric and I are settling in nicely.

Meanwhile... things are getting exciting over at the Kansas City Star Quilts, My Stars blog. We are hard at work behind the scenes getting the book ready for it's fall debut. There is a Q&A with me over on the blog. Find out what modern quilting means to me, how I got started sewing and why the heck I'm online so much!

This is a little sneak peek of my project for the book. It all started with this stack of colorful solids and graphic prints.

  1. What a great interview. This is the first I have heard about the My Stars imprint--how exciting (and where have I been???) Is your new home very far away from your old one? I need to get in the car and come have a sew day with you.
